Vladimir Konstantinov (politician)

Volodymyr Andrijowitsch Konstantynow (Russian: Владимир Андреевич Константинов, Ukrainian Володимир Андрійович Константинов; born November 19, 1956 in Wolodymyriwka, Moldavian SSR today Transnistria, Moldova) is a Ukrainian politician.

He is the current President of the Parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Konstantynow was from 1998 to 2002 and again from 2006 to 2010 a member of parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and sitting since 2010 for the Party of Regions again in the Parliament of Crimea. Since March 2010 he has been Chairman of the Parliament. The Party of Regions had emerged from the parliamentary elections in the Crimea in 2010, with 80 of 100 seats as by far the strongest party. The remaining 20 seats went to five small parties.

In the 1970s Konstantynow graduated in Simferopol study engineering and played a leading role in the construction and real estate company " console " in the 1990s.
