Vladimir Morozov (swimmer)

Vladimir Viktorovich Morozov (Russian: Владимир Викторович Морозов, scientific transliteration Vladimir Morozov Viktorovič; * June 16, 1992 in Novosibirsk ) is a Russian swimmer.

Career

Vladimir Morozov coached from 2002 to 2007 in the Children's and Youth Sports School in Koltsovo, Novosibirsk Oblast. In 2007 he went to the USA where he studied at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and their sports club belongs.

Since 2011 he is a member of the Russian national team, for whom he first launched in Shanghai at the World Swimming Championships in 2011. He specializes in freestyle and backstroke. Here he won in the relay an Olympic medal and several medals at the world championships. About 50 meters back he holds the Russian record.
