The meeting Furter were robber barons. The increasingly vulnerable and neighboring Mainz, Hesse and Saxony presented the robber barons on a rampage. Possessions and rights of the meeting Furter were part of the spoils of the three winners. This agreed on joint management of the three villages Oberdorla, Langula and Niederdorla. The three winners countries continued of 1333 each to a bailiff in the three villages to protect their own rights and properties. So well was the smallest territory in the Holy Roman Empire. Because of this little country was ruled by three overseers, the people were called from then and until today just Vogteier. Far and wide, not even assigns to the residents of the three places to a village, they are called Vogteier.

On December 31, 2012, the three member communities Langula, Niederdorla and Oberdorla merged to form the new municipality bailiwick, this was fulfilling community for the other two communities Oppershausen chamber and forestry. At the same time the management of Community bailiwick was dissolved.
