Volcom Entertainment

Volcom Entertainment is an American record label based in Costa Mesa, California. Officially the label in 1995 in neighboring Newport Beach by Ryan Immegart ( singer and guitarist of the band theLINE ) and Richard Woolcot ( founder of Volcom Clothing ) was founded. Immegart was the first sponsored by Volcom Snowboarders, finally, by his love for music and his friendship with Woolcot he could convince them to start a record label as part of the Volcom family this.

As a world -renowned brand for lifestyle clothing Volcom provided the perfect basis of the Surf / Skate / snowboarding community to imagine the self-titled debut of theLINE. In the following six months, the album sold despite unconventional marketing (eg sale in surf / skate / snowboard shops ) over 5000 times. In the following years, the label grew both by conventional and unconventional marketing and published bands like CKY, Vaux and Pepper. Since 1997, Volcom Entertainment is represented on the Warped Tour with its own stage.

Volcom Entertainment is part of the East West Records label family.
