Pepper (Band)

Pepper is a ska band, originally from Kailua- Kona, for some time living in Southern California. They play a mix of reggae, dub and ska. The first records of the band published by Volcom Entertainment.

Band History

After Pepper gave several concerts in Hawaii, the label Volcom Entertainment showed interest in the band and Pepper brought under whose production the first album Give'N It out - a mix of dancehall, reggae, hip -hop and pop. With the success of Give'N It'After the band managed to perform at the Warped Tour 2001.

After the extensive tour Pepper went with Steve Kravac ( produced, inter alia, Less Than Jake and MxPx ) the studio to record the second album Kona Town, which was released in March 2002 on. With Kona Town Pepper's musical style began to develop with added island tones. The song Give It Up was released as a single.

On 20 March 2007 Pepper brought the first compilation To Da Max, inter alia, with B- sides. Pepper went on all concerts on the Warped Tour 2007.

In 2008, the band played as support for the American Folk - Punk band Flogging Molly on their tour.
