The Volgograd airport (Russian Международный Аэропорт Волгоград, English: Volgograd International Airport or Gumrak Airport ) is an airport in Volgograd in Russia.
Location
The airport is located 15 km north-west of Volgograd.
History
On the site was during the Battle of Stalingrad the airstrip Gumrak that was occupied until January 21, 1943 by the 6th Army of Wehrmacht.
Navigation aids
The Tower ( TWR ) sends and receives on the frequency: 128.0 MHz. The airport has several navigation aids. The non-directional beacon ( NDB ) transmits on the frequency: 325 kHz with the identifier: WG.

The airport is served by several airlines:

- Air Volga to Moscow - Domodedovo Airport
Several charter airlines fly from Volgograd from, especially during the summer flight schedule to various destinations in the Mediterranean, as Red Wings Airlines flies regularly among other things to Antalya.
