Volker Herold
Volker Herold ( born January 29, 1959 in Thale ) is a German actor and director.
Life
From 1982 to 1986 Herold graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts Ernst Busch Rostock. He received guest appearances in Leipzig, Tübingen and Frankfurt ( Oder) and was engaged from 1986 to 1989 at the Meininger Theater. From 1989 to 1990 Herold was engaged at the State Theater Dessau. Since 1990, Herold is a freelance active in Berlin and participates in dept on various projects with Jo Fabian & example among others. Since 1996, Herold guest director at the Leipzig Schauspielhaus, the People's Theatre in Rostock, at the Uckermärkischen stages Schwedt, at the Dresden State Theatre and the State Theatre Neubrandenburg Neustrelitz. Since 1998, Herold is also guest on The cabaret or taps, Frankfurt ( Oder). In 2008 he played the doorman in the musical elixir (music by Tobias Kuenzel ).
Since the early 1990s Herold is also active in film and television. He received his first starring role in 1990 in the episode The Duel of the crime film series Police 110, in which he the brutal burglars Holm embodied in the turmoil of the reversal time. It was followed by numerous supporting roles, mainly in TV series. A larger television audience than Bernd Herold was Plenske Love in the Sat.1 telenovela in Berlin known. He embodied this role from 2005 to 2007 in 40 episodes of the series. Since early 2009, he is seen as " Piefke " fishermen in the series Clinic at Alex on Sat.1. He developed, wrote and supervised " Piefkes " diary also in 28 episodes on the website of Sat.1.
