Volley Bergamo

Foppapedretti Bergamo is an Italian women's volleyball club from Bergamo, in the Italian first division ( Serie A1 ) and playing in the Champions League.

History

The club was founded in 1991 as Volley Club Bergamo and started in the 1991/92 season in Serie B1, where he reached in his first season at the end of course 6. The following year, Bergamo promotion to the second highest league ( Serie A2) to ascend again in the very next year in the top division of the Italian League ( Serie A1 ). In the 1995/96 season Bergamo was the first time Italian champion and also won the Italian Cup for the first time.
