Francesca Piccinini

Francesca Piccinini ( born January 10, 1979 in Pietrasanta) is an Italian volleyball player who for the Women's National Team participated so far four times (2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012 ) at the Olympic Games. She celebrated her biggest success with the national team in 2002 during the World Cup in Germany, when the team celebrated winning the title. In 2007, she was in Belgium and in Poland in 2009 European Champion.

Her debut in the national team they were against the United States in 1995.

With their club Volley Bergamo, it was four times Italian champion (2002, 2004, 2006 and 2011) and won the Champions League five times ( 2000, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010). In 2010 she was honored as this "Most Valuable Player".

Also, as a model Piccinini was active, several pictures of her appeared in the Italian Men's Health.
