Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube

Rio de Janeiro vôlei Clube is a Brazilian volleyball club from Rio de Janeiro, whose wife team plays in the Brazilian league. The club was founded in 1997 as Paraná Clube vôlei and in 2002 to Rio. He went on under the name of sponsor Rexona - Ades and now under Unilever vôlei.

Rio de Janeiro VC is one of the most successful clubs in the Brazilian volleyball and has been nine times champion (1998, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013 ) and Cup Winners' Cup in 2007. Major players like Fabiana Claudino, Jaqueline Carvalho, Sheilla Castro, Fernanda Ferreira, Danielle Lins Thaisa Menezes, Fabiana Oliveira, Natália Pereira, Leila Barros, Francesca Piccinini, Marianne Steinbrecher and Logan Tom play or played for Rio de Janeiro VC.
