Dani Lins

Danielle " Dani " Rodrigues Lins (born 5 January 1985 in Recife ) is a Brazilian volleyball player. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012, she won the gold medal.

Career

In the club

Lin began her career in 2000 at the Osasco Voleibol Club, with which it belonged until 2005, three times in a row was Brazilian champion in 2003. She then moved to Rio de Janeiro VC, with whom she continued her winning streak in the national championship until 2009. In addition to the annual title in the league they won the 2007 Brazilian Cup. After the next success in the league with Rio de Janeiro Lins moved in 2011 to SESI São Paulo.

In the National Team

With the Brazilian Junior Danielle Lins was South American champions in 2002. The following year, she also won the U- 20 World Cup. Her debut in the senior national team took place in 2003. During the same year, Lin scored both at the Pan American Games and the Pan American Cup 4th Place. 2005 and 2006 they won with Brazil by Final victory against China, the Montreux Volley Masters, 2008, she won the Pan American Cup. Lins was 2009 Brazil Grand Prix winner and South American champions, while for the third time, the Montreux also won the Pan American Cup and Masters. She was awarded at the World Grand Prix as the best setter of the tournament. In addition, Danielle Lins acts since 1 August 2009, officially known as the captain of the national team. In 2010 she achieved with Brazil second in the Grand Prix and reached the final of the World Cup, where Brazil, however, Russia was defeated with 2:3. The following year, she was again second in the Grand Prix, but triumphed at the Pan American Games and the Pan American Cup. Both the Grand Prix as well as the Pan American Games, she was again named the best setter of the tournament. 2012 she won for the third time in a row, the second in the Grand Prix. Then she took part in the Olympic Games in London and won with Brazil a 3-1 victory in the final against the United States the gold medal.
