2012 FIVB World Grand Prix
The 2012 season of the Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 20th edition of the competition. It began on June 8 and ended on July 1.
Mode
In the first round came to sixteen teams. In the first three weeks of four tournaments were held in parallel with four teams. The top five teams overall qualified alongside hosts China for the final round. In the final round the teams played " all against all ".
With a 3:0 or 3:1, there were three points for the winner and not the loser. In a 3-2 winner of the opponents received two points, one point. If two or more team were level on points, the order specified in the table on the following criteria: First, the number of games won decided the case of equality the ratio of the rates and in the end the quotient of the ball points.
