2005 FIVB World Grand Prix
The 2005 season of the Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 13th edition of the competition. It began on June 24 and ended on July 18. Brazil won their fifth title.
Mode
In the preliminary round came at twelve teams. In the first three weeks of three tournaments were held in parallel with four teams. The top five teams overall qualified alongside hosts Japan for the final round.

Germany played with Andrea Berg, Cornelia Dumler, Christiane Fürst, Christian Gühr, Nadja Jenzewski, Angelina Grün, Olessya Kulakova, Kathy Radzuweit, Julia Bad, Corina Ssuschke, Birgit Thumm, Kerstin Tzscherlich and Kathleen White. Coach was Hee Wan Lee.
Final round
The final round was held from July 13 to 18 in Sendai (Japan).
