2013 FIVB World Grand Prix
The 2013 season of the Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 21st edition of the contest. It began on August 2 and ended on September 1. For the first time took 20 instead of only 16 teams participate.
Mode
In the first round came to twenty teams. In the first three weeks five tournaments with four teams took place in parallel. The top five teams overall qualified alongside hosts Japan for the final round. In the final round the teams played " all against all ".
With a 3:0 or 3:1, there were three points for the winner and not the loser. In a 3-2 winner of the opponents received two points, one point. If two or more team were level on points, the order specified in the table on the following criteria: First, the number of games won decided the case of equality the ratio of the rates and in the end the quotient of the ball points.
