Fabiana Alvim de Oliveira ( born March 7, 1980 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian volleyball player. At the Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012, she won the gold medal.

Career

Oliveira began her career in 1993 in her hometown with CR Flamengo. 1998/99, she played one season at CD Macaé, before returning to Flamengo. After a year at CR Vasco da Gama in 2001, she moved to ACF Campos. 2002 debuted the Liberation in the Brazilian national team. The Brazilians won the 2003 and 2005 South American Championship and also the Grand Prix in 2005. Oliveira After these successes came to Rio de Janeiro VC. With the new club they won from 2006 to 2009 four consecutive national championship. International defended the 2006 Grand Prix and reached the final of the World Cup. Followed in 2007 next to the new title in the continental championship two second places at the Pan American Games and the World Cup. 2008 Oliveira took after the next Grand Prix victory at the Olympic Games in Beijing; there they received in addition to the gold medal and an award as best Libera. Brazil was again South American champions in 2009. The following year the national team reached the final of the Grand Prix and World Cup respectively. 2011 Oliveira was with the club Brazilian champion. With Brazil, they missed again the final victory at the Grand Prix, but won the continental title as well as the tournament's Pan American Games again. In 2012 there was the third time the second place in the Grand Prix. Then took Oliveira in London for the second time in the Olympics and won her second gold medal.
