Marianne " Mari " Steinbrecher ( born August 23, 1983 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian volleyball player who plays for Fenerbahçe İstanbul in Turkey since 2012.

Career

Steinbrecher is the daughter of Russian and German parents. For volleyball they came up with fourteen years. They played for several Brazilian clubs. With Osasco she won in 2001, 2002 and 2005, the Salonpas Cup. In 2006, she joined the Italian league to Robur Sports Pesaro, where she was Italian champion in 2008 and won the CEV Cup. Then the Außenangreiferin returned to Brazil. In the years 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2009 she won the World Grand Prix with the Brazilian national team. Steinbrecher participated twice in the Olympic Games: Athens 2004 she finished fourth and in Beijing in 2008, she won the gold medal.
