Sheilla Castro

Sheilla Tavares de Castro ( born July 1, 1983 in Belo Horizonte ) is a Brazilian volleyball player. She won the 2008 and 2012 Olympic gold medal.

Career

Castro began her career in 1997 when Mackenzie Esporte Clube. In 2000, she moved to Minas Tênis Clube. In 2002 she was with the club Brazilian champion. In the same year the Universal player made ​​his debut in the Brazilian national team that won the 2003 South American Championship. 2004 joined Castro in the Italian league to Robur Sports Pesaro. A year later, her national team to defend the title in the Continental Cup and the victory in the Grand Prix. 2006 Pesaro won the CEV Cup and the universal player took after the renewed Grand Prix success in part to the 2006 World Cup, which ended only for Brazil in the final.
