Volnay, Côte-d'Or

Volnay is a commune and a wine village in the Burgundy region, located in the Côte-d'Or department, about five kilometers southwest of Beaune and a kilometers southwest of Pommard. Volnay is part of the Côte de Beaune. The municipality has 279 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) and lies at an altitude 209-393 m above sea level. It has an area of ​​755 hectares.
