Voyager (metal band)

Voyager is an Australian Power and progressive metal band from Perth, founded in 1999.

History

The band was formed in 1999 by drummer Adam Lovkis, keyboardist Mark Baker and vocalist and keyboardist Daniel " ' Nephil ' " Estrin. A short time later, guitarist Mark De Vattimo to fill. Keyboardist Mark Baker increased again left the band. As a new guitarist Emanuel Rudnicki joined the band. The group held its first appearance in 2000. After a few more appearances drummer Adam Lovkis left the band and was replaced by Geoff Callaghan. It was followed by several further appearances. In 2001, with Jenna Graeig a new bass player to the band. In 2004, appeared with their debut album V element. In February 2006, Mark Boeijen came as the new drummer and Simone Dow as the new guitarist for the band. In December, bassist Alex Canion was added to the cast. In the same year, the band played the ProgPower Europe. In the next few years appeared with Univers (2007), I Am The Revolution ( 2009) and The Meaning Of I ( 2011) three more albums.

Style

The band plays progressive metal. Her works are compared with pieces by Dream Theater, Symphony X and Nevermore.
