VÅ¡ehrdy (Chomutov District)

Všehrdy ( German Tschern ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers south-east of the center of Chomutov and belongs to Okres Chomutov.

Geography

Všehrdy is located in the North Bohemian basin at the Bach Hačka. To the south rises the Holetický vrch ( Holetitzer mountain, 333 m). In the southwest of the railway line Praha- Chomutov runs through the 1758 m long tunnel Droužkovice. North of the village leads the state road I / 7 by between Chomutov and Postoloprty; associated with the expansion of Expressway R7 was a Umtrassierung south of the village.

Neighboring towns are Údlice in the north, and Přečaply Nezabylice in the northeast, Hořenec in the east, and Lažany Hrušovany to the southeast, and Denětice Holetice in the south, Strezov and Brezno in the southwest and Droužkovice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Rothenhaus place in the year 1295th

Since the 19th century began in the vicinity of the village of the mining of lignite in several wells. 1847 lived 141 people in the 26 houses of the village. In the same year a brick factory was founded in Chern. Chern was always subservient to Roth house, in the place was a stately Grange.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Tschern / Všehrdy 1850 a municipality in the district court Chomutov District Chomutov respectively. 1868 the site was assigned to the judicial district of Chomutov. 1894, the village had 240 inhabitants and consisted of 36 houses. 1930 lived 252 people in Chern. Residents of the village lived mainly by agriculture or worked in the brickyard. School site and vicarage was Pritschapl. After the Munich Agreement in 1938 the community was added to the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district of Chomutov. 1939 Chern 243 inhabitants. After the Second World War, the city came back to Czechoslovakia and the German inhabitants were expelled. In the second half of the 20th century brickworks ceased operation. The largest employer in the town was the state farm, part of the residents worked in the factories of Chomutov. In 1958, the prison was opened. With the beginning of 1981 Všehrdy was incorporated into Údlice. Since 1990, the community is again. The detention center has been expanded since the 1980s, and it emerged blocks of flats for the staff. Since the last extension in June 2007, the juvenile detention center for men has 599 seats.
