Vulcanal

The Volcanal, the altar of the fire and forge God Vulcan, one of the oldest shrines of the Roman Forum is in Rome, situated behind the umbilicus urbis. However, it is not certain whether he might be consecrated to the god Saturnus. The sanctuary said to have been founded by Titus Tatius Sabinerkönig. It dates from the 6th or 7th century before Christ, but was later partially modified.
