Vyacheslav Buravchikov

Vyacheslav Vladimirovich Burawtschikow (Russian Вячеслав Владимирович Буравчиков; May 22nd, 1987 in Moscow, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player, who was last at HK CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Vyacheslav Burawtschikow began his career as a hockey player in his youth Krylia Sovetov Moscow by, for its second team, he was active in the third-class Perwaja League from 2003 to 2005. In addition, he was in the 2004/05 season his debut for Kryljas professional team in the league Wysschaja. He was then in the sixth round selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 when a total of 191 players from the Buffalo Sabres for which, however, he has not played. After a season in Moskovskaya Oblast Chimik in the Russian Super League defender moved in summer 2006 to its domestic rivals Ak Bars Kazan, with whom he won the 2008 IIHF Continental Cup, and in 2009 Russian Champion.

In December 2010 he transferred within the KHL HK for CSKA Moscow. During the 2012/13 season he was struggling with a heart condition, so that he missed much of the season, and then took a break from professional hockey.

Internationally

For Russia Burawtschikow took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2005, as well as the U20 World Junior Championships in 2006 and 2007 in part.
