Wade Skolney

Wade Skolney (* June 24, 1981 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. During his career he was active among other things, for the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL.

Career

Skolney began his career in 1996 in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League Brandon Wheat Kings in the. The trained defenders developed at the Wheat Kings to a service provider and a member of the tribe squad. His best season was also his last with the Wheat Kings. In a total of 69 games the right shooter scored 25 points scorer.

In the summer of 2002 Skolney signed a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers, the him but mainly in their farm team, the Philadelphia Phantoms, exert. Even with the Phantoms in the American Hockey League the defender belonged to the tribe squad and continuously performed well. In 2005, the Canadian won the Calder Cup with the Phantoms.
