One can probably assume that the Wadersloher farming communities and also the location of the Church in the Frankish -Saxon period ( 9th century ) date back. The Minster country was well into the Middle Ages a large woodland with many small enclaves. In general, there were a few yards, which were visible to one another. The main courtyard was such a settlement is usually the name. Between these groups of farms and their arable land was the forest - this woodland is also behind a name ending in -lo or - loe, which is also found in many names of this space, so also on behalf Wadersloh.

The name Bozo and Bardo are regarded as the founder of the noble ladies pin and later monastery Liesborn. There is some evidence that they are against the Stromberg had a central courtyard, which gave the name Bardesloe a peasantry. This name ( by sound shift ) Wardesloe must have played a role in founding the church, because the church town was called from the beginning ( of literacy ) to Warsloe ( 1193 ), Wadersloe ( 1217 ), Wardesloe ( 1498). Wadersloh likely to have been from the beginning a church village, with the church as the center, ran from where the roads and paths radialstrahlig church in the farming communities.

The people were artisans and merchants who lived by agriculture and also usually self operated a small farm. As it was getting warmer in the 11th and 12th centuries ( climatic optimum ), the crops were better and the population increased significantly; the inventions in agriculture helped. Cities ( such as Lippstadt) were founded and the church villages grew.

So it was the end of the 12th century to a new order in the administration of the diocese of Münster. Bishop Hermann II of Katzenelenbogen ordered the parishes of new and imputed Wadersloh the Archdeacon of the provost of St.Martini in Münster. This period also saw the construction of a stone church fell.

The climatic optimum was followed in the 14th century, a " little ice age ", the harvests were poor and the plague decimated the population and searched villages and cities in the following centuries, always back home. Many farms fell into disrepair and poverty and hunger were widespread itself. Feuds and wars did the rest. The boundary layer Waderslohs was a great disadvantage, passing troops took what they could get sacked and pillaged. At the beginning of the 19th century, large parts of the country Munster were a poorhouse.

This situation improved with industrialization and the emergence of urban centers. By the railway connection in 1898 the jobs in Beckum and Lippstadt were reached. By 1945 Wadersloh remained but a relationship of agriculture village.

On April 1, 1898, the church was re- formed by Benteler spin-off from Wadersloh.

The church today Wadersloh was formed on 1 January 1975 from the formerly independent communities Wadersloh, Liesborn (without the part of municipality Bad Waldliesborn ) and Diestedde. Prior to 1975 this resolved Official Wadersloh had heard.
