General

Little Feat developed in the course of their band's career a solid reputation among fans and critics. With each album they have been commercially successful. However, the group decided until the end of its existence to a live album, as the disputes between Lowell George and Bill Payne on the musical development made already noticeable. Waiting for Columbus was at four concerts at the Rainbow Theatre in London and at three concerts in the Lisner Auditorium of the George Washington University in Washington, DC recorded. In these concerts enough material for a triple - LP was recorded, for cost reasons, however, only one double - LP was released. The original recordings were only available as a double LP. Only in the 2002 edition, portions of the material have been published.
