Wang Chung (band)

Wang Chung, and Huang Chung, is a British new-wave and synth - pop band, founded in 1979 by Jack Hues and Nick Feldman. Darren Costin completed the trio. The musicians celebrated their biggest success in the United States, while they only had small successes in their homeland. In 1983 they were in the BBC music show The Old Grey Whistle Test as a guest.

Wang Chung's most famous songs are Dance Hall Days (1984) and Everybody Have Fun Tonight ( 1986), which is regularly heard the variation " Everybody Wang Chung Tonight". Dance Hall Days could be placed in spring 1984 in the top 10 in Germany and Switzerland. The song City of Angels from the 1985 album To Live and Die in LA was a template for the theme song of Star TV. Everybody Have Fun Tonight and Let's Go were Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100
