Wang Fengchun

Fengchun Wang (Chinese王奉春, Pinyin Wáng Fengchun; born February 2, 1982 in Harbin ) is a Chinese curler. He is a skip of the Chinese National Team and a member of the Harbin Curling Club.

He played 2002 at the third position with skip Xu Xiaoming, when a team of the People's Republic for the first time participated in the Pacific Cup. In 2006 he won with skip Wang Binjiang at the Pacific Championships, the bronze medal, the same result was achieved in the Asian Winter Games in the same winter. In the following three years from 2007 to 2009 Wang led the Chinese team as Skip the Pacific Cup and thus also qualified for each of the World Cup.

The first participation of a Chinese team at the 2008 World Cup was surprisingly successful. Wang's team was able to defeat Skip Kevin Martin as only the heavily favored Canadians and qualified for the finals of the top four, but ultimately remained without a medal. Wang was able to win in his hometown of Harbin bronze at the 2009 Winter Universiade.

In February 2010, Wang took part in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver (Canada) as a member of the Chinese team. The team finished in eighth place.
