Wang Yaping

Wang Yaping (Chinese王亚平, Pinyin Wang Yaping, born January 27, 1980 in Yantai, Shandong Province, People's Republic of China) is a Chinese Taikonautin. It is the second Chinese spaceflight.

Personal

Wang Yaping grew up in the provincial port city of Yantai in a working class family. After completing her education in 1997 and a college education in 2001 she joined the Army and completed in Changchun, a pilot training with the air forces of the People's Republic of China. In May 2010, she was recruited as a candidate spacecraft and completed a two-year aerospace training program.

She was a contestant on the mission Shenzhou 9, 2012.

With Shenzhou 10 she started on June 11, 2013 from the Baikonur Jiuquan to the Chinese space station Tiangong 1 On 20 June she held for Chinese student a lesson from space, in which she performed various physical experiments, thus demonstrating the influence of gravity. By videoconference 330 students in Beijing were switched directly, in more than 80,000 Chinese schools, the live broadcast was followed on television.
