Wanja Lundby-Wedin

Wanja Lundby - Wedin Elisabeth (* October 19, 1952 in Enskede ) is a Swedish trade unionist. She is Chair of the Swedish labor union umbrella organization Landsorganisationen i Sverige ( LO) and was from 2007 to 2011 President of the European Trade Union Confederation.

Life

Wanja Lundby Wedin, is the daughter of a truck driver and a housewife. She grew up in Stockholm and was trained as a nurse.
