Wargentin (crater)

85.93

Wargentin is an impact crater on the southwestern edge of the Moon front, southwest of the Great Barrier level of Schickard and northwest of Phocylides. The crater interior is completely flooded by lava that has been poured over the crater rim on the surrounding plateau after the crater was completely filled.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Swedish astronomer Pehr Wilhelm Wargentin.
