Warlock - Satan's son is an American fantasy-thriller from the year 1989.
Action
Initial sequence
Four people, including three judges, marching through the streets of Boston / USA. In prison, the judge entered the cell in which the Warlock Warlock is chained. When they leave the prison, pulling on a storm over the prison tower, and the engraved into the wooden door pentagram disappears.
Bulk
. In 1691, The Witch Hunter Giles Redferne goes against a Warlock (English: "Warlock " ) in order to put him on trial. A whirlwind helps the Warlock to escape, Redferne jumps after him and they both end up in the 20th century. The Warlock goes off in search of the three parts of the Grand Grimoire, which together break the gate of hell. He is looking at a seer, for he needed Satan's instructions to find the seals. Redferne uses a tracking device that looks like a compass to track the Warlock. The First Seal acquired the Warlock with ease. Before the Warlock continues its mission, it needs fat lard of a non-baptized people, whereby he gained the ability to fly. The second seal is the Warlock on a farm. Cassandra succeeds in her amulet retrieve, the curse is lifted and she is young again. She has achieved her goal and now she intends to get out, but Redferne tells her that - once the warlock all three seals together gets - the devil gained power over everything and nothing will be as before.
She decides to support Redferne on. The two travel by plane to Boston, where the witch hunters want to find the final seal. In the next scene a priest is at home with his pregnant wife. Suddenly shakes the apartment, the door falls off its hinges. The Warlock will have the same information as Redferne got it. He pulls the pastor's wife to himself, the priest intervenes, but is forced by the Warlock to sit down. Warlock feel the unborn child and priest threatens to inflict any harm to him, and he gets what he wants.
The next scene takes place in a cemetery. It is now late in the evening, Redferne and his companion look for a grave stone on which a pentagram is engraved. Kassandra finds the grave stone and they realize that it bears Redfernes name. Shocked looks Redferne aside while Kassandra opens the coffin taken out because it the final seal is hidden, held by the brittle fingers of Redfernes corpse.
The Warlock has a fantastic cause and fought for the Seal of Redferne. Now he puts his half of the pages in both of his hands. They whirl around in the air in order to put together in the correct order to form a book.
It falls to the ground, the earth trembles and appear on the Book of Seals letters. " I know you, I know your name ," the Warlock God is calling to the sky. Should he call out the true name of God backwards, so his mission is fulfilled. The creation will be undone and the devil takes power. But the Warlock has Kassandra forget that he threw a short time before in the near bay. You stalks from behind and pushes out two of their insulin syringes salt water in the neck of the Warlock. Then begins the Warlock fire.
Final sequence
To ensure that the three seals never go back into the wrong hands, Cassandra decides to bury in the vast salt desert. The last camera setting shows how she drives to the salt desert of it.

Director Steve Miner Award for the film with the audience award Pegasus at Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival in 1991. Warlock - Satan's son was also at the Saturn Awards 1992 in the categories Best Fantasy Film, Best Music and Best Special Effects nomination.

Continuations
The film drew two sequels. 1993 Anthony Hickox directed the movie Warlock - Satan's son returns, again with Julian Sands in the title -giving star. In 1999, for the video market, the second sequel Warlock - The Haunting rotated. The main role of the Warlock took over Bruce Payne. In another role Ashley Laurence was seen.
