Warm Sounds

Warm Sounds was a British psychedelic rock band that existed from 1967 to 1968.

Hot Sonds consisted of the musicians Barry Husband, a former member of Tuesday 's Children, and Denver Gerrard. In 1967, she participated in Deram Records on the single Birds and Bees who met the musical spirit of the times. The single was played by the pirate radio station Wonderful Radio London, where she temporarily took first place in the transmitter internal charts. The song was then for six weeks in the UK singles charts and reached there as the highest ranking in 27th place

Their second single Nite Is A Comin ' was a flop, after which they switched to Immediate Records and there began their third single, Sticks And Stones. When this single also not accepted by the audience Husband and Gerrard parted. Husband joined with drummer Candy John Carr, had collaborated with the warm sounds, only Hapshash and the Coloured Coat and then Donovan's band Open Road to Gerrard pursued a career as a solo artist.
