The Warnes River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales.

Geography

It rises in the northern tablelands of New South Wales on the eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range, about 20 km east of the small town in the western part Yarrowitch Werrikimbe National Park. From its source, the river first flows through unoccupied land to the north- west and then north to the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. There he joins about 16 km north of Yarrowitch in the Yarrowitch River.

The Warnes River is in the Local Government Area and Walcha in Vernon County 's course.

Agriculture

The land on the banks of the River Warnes considered as good Pasture and is mostly used for the rearing of calves.
