Yarrowitch River at Oxley Highway
The Yarrowitch River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales.
Geography
The river rises in the northern tablelands of New South Wales on the eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range, about 11 km west of the small town on the Oxley Highway Yarrowitch, east of Mummel - Gulf National Park. It flows northward under the Highway through uninhabited areas and crashes the Yarrowitch Falls down in the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. The Yarrowitch River flows about 30 km northeast of Tia in the Apsley River.
The entire river is located in the Local Government Ares Walcha and in Vernon County.
