Warnołęka

Warnołęka ( German True Long) is a village in the municipality of Nowe Warpno ( Neuwarp ) in the powiat Policki ( Pölitzer circle) of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

Warnołęka lies in the former eastern Pomerania, about four kilometers east of the city Nowe Warpno, 23 kilometers northwest of the town of Police ( Pölitz ) and 35 kilometers northwest of Stettin ( Szczecin). The village is located at the Province Road 114 Nowe Warpno by Police.

History

The village belonged until 1945 to the True Cross County Ueckermuende in the district of Stettin Pomerania. After the Second World War it was used together with the so-called corner Szczecin Pomerania Poland. True Long was renamed Warnołęka.

Attractions

  • The Church of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa from the 18th century. Until 1945 she was Protestant, she was ordained as a Catholic church on 26 August 1946.
