Warren Murphy

Warren Murphy ( * September 13, 1933 in Jersey City, New Jersey) is an American reporter, writer and screenwriter.

Life

Murphy is best known as the co-author of " The Destroyer " series, as the basis for the movie " Remo - unarmed and dangerous" served. He worked as a reporter and editor and after service during the Korean War drove him into politics. He was also an assistant professor at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Murphy also wrote the screenplay for " focal point of LA ." He is the author of the series Trace and Digger. Two books of a planned trilogy that rotate ( The Grand Master ) to the character of "The Grand Master", he wrote with Molly Cochran. Together with her, Murphy also writes the posts to Forever King and several published under the name Dev Stryker novels. Some of his novels are written solely Jericho Day, The Red Moon, The Ceiling of Hell, The Sure Thing and Honor Among Thieves ..

Some years ago, Murphy founded his own publishing house, Ballybunion, therein to issue the spin-off books to The Destroyer. Ballybunion has reprinted the The Assassin 's Handbook (Handbook Assassin ), and other works: The Assassin 's Handbook 2 (Handbook Assassin 2), " The Movie That Never Was " ( "The film that never was " one of Murphy along with Richard Sapir -written script for a never- realized " the Destroyer " ) film, "The Way of the Assassin (the wisdom of Chiun )" ( " the Way of the Assassin ( the wisdom of Chiun ) " and New Blood ( "New blood " ), a collection of fans of the series authored short stories. Murphy was a member of the Mystery writers of America as well as other writers' associations. In April 2007, Murphy is expected to again act as a co- author of The Destroyer, which will now be published by Tor Books.
