WE WISH

WE WISH (World Environmental & Investigation Watching from Space Height) was an Earth observation and amateur radio satellite, the employees of the Meisei Denki KK (明星 电 気 株式会社, Eng. Meisei Electric Co., Ltd.). Was built.

Mission and payload

WE WISH was launched on 21 July 2012 at the HTV -3 from the Tanegashima Space Center and brought to the International Space Station ISS. From there it was on October 4, 2012 along with the four other CubeSats RAIKO, TechEdSat, FITSAT -1 and F-1 is released into space.

Main mission was an infrared camera whose images were sent as SSTV signal to Earth. In addition, the satellite sent in Morse code, AX.25 and in the 70 cm band. The call sign was JQ1ZJ.

The re-entry was made on March 11, 2013.
