Weatherford International

The Weatherford International Ltd.. is an international manufacturer of equipment for the oil and gas extraction with roots in the United States and headquartered in train in Switzerland.

The company was founded in 1948 under the name of Weatherford Oil Tool Company in Weatherford, Texas. In 2008 the group decided to unify its head office and its head office and to move from Houston or from Bermuda to Switzerland. In April 2014 Weatherford announced that it delisted on the Swiss and Paris stock exchange during the year and to relocate its headquarters from Switzerland to Ireland.
