The Webster University Vienna is the Austrian branch of Webster University, which has its headquarters in the North American St. Louis ( Webster Groves neighborhood ).

Overview

The campus of Webster University, Vienna is the largest foreign branch of the American private university. It was founded in 1981 at the invitation of the Mayor of Vienna, and was thus the first provider of an MBA in Austria. In August 1996, the new campus was opened in Kaisermuehlen. On 9 January 2001 the accreditation was granted as a private university by the Austrian Accreditation Council. At Webster University, Vienna currently studying about 550 students from over 70 nations, who are enrolled in a bachelor 's or master's degree program. The entire teaching will be in English and in small groups of maximum 25 students. With Dr. Elizabeth Chopin ( Director of 1989-1999) was the first Webster University in Austria with a woman at the top.

At Webster University is no application to an exchange program needed to continue his studies abroad. Students can choose between the various campuses of the University (Vienna, London, Geneva and suffering in Europe, Shanghai in China, Cha -am in Thailand, and more than 100 locations in the U.S.) change.

The diplomas of Webster University, Vienna, both in the United States ( on the approval of Webster University in Missouri), in Austria by the accreditation as a private university, as well as internationally recognized by the ACBSP.
