History

The Döblinger parish grew out of a daughter church of the parish Waehring in the Lutheran Church. The Döblinger parish was established in 1965 independently and was initially housed in rented premises in the Kreindlgasse. After a favorable land had been found in the Börnergasse, the community 1980-1981 built the vineyard church designed by the architect Alexander Marc Hart and Roland Moebius.
