Weingut Wittmann

The Weingut Wittmann is located in the Rhineland-Palatinate Westhofen in the field Wonnegau the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. 2014 managed the winery about 25 hectares of vineyards. In addition, the winery is a member of the Association of German predicate Wine Estates (VDP ).

History

The family Weingut Wittmann was first mentioned in 1663 as Erbbeständer the Palatine " Seehofes ". With bottling their own wines began in 1921. During the 1960s profiled George and Irmgard Wittmann viticulture in their typical Rhinehessen mixed farm.

Vineyards, soils and grape varieties
