Weißbach (Schneizlreuth)

White gorge

The Weissbach is a major stream in the community Schneizlreuth in Bavaria, Berchtesgaden region. It rises in Nature Reserve Eastern Chiemgau Alps and extends from just outside the district of Weissenbach parallel to the main road B305.

After the district of Weissenbach the creek to a gorge, the White gorge, a popular hiking destination, sure-footedness and freedom narrows provided. Numerous tributaries flow from Ristfeuchthorn in Weissbach, especially in the spring during snowmelt. In the district Schneizlreuth it flows into the Saalachstrasse.
