Werner Buxa

Werner Max Arthur Buxa ( born October 16, 1916 in Memel, † 20 May 1998 in Oelbronn - Duerrn ) was a German officer and author.

Life

Werner Buxa was born during the First World War, the son of a Prussian lieutenant. He was then active participant in the Second World War, in which he has won several awards.

In 1943 he married; the couple had five children: three sons, the eldest died on the day of birth, and two daughters.

The Bundeswehr was Werner Buxa last as lieutenant colonel of the reserve. From 1970 to 1973 Lieutenant Colonel R. d Buxa was commander of Battalion 752 of the Bundeswehr, the 52 was under the VBK in Karlsruhe. Buxa last lived in Baden- Württemberg and died on 20 May 1998 in Oelbronn - Duerrn.
