Werner Klumpp

Werner Klumpp ( born November 12, 1928 in Baiersbronn ) is a German politician and honorary chairman of the FDP / DPS and former Saarland Minister of Economics.

Life

Werner Klumpp was Luftwaffenhelfer 1944-1945 and was seriously injured. From 1952 to 1953 he attended the Leibniz College and studied from 1953 to 1958 Law and Political Science at the University of Tübingen. After the state examination, he was a research assistant.

He joined the FDP in 1957 and was from 1970 to 1984 and from 1998 to 2000 state chairman of the FDP Saar. In 1974 he was president of the association of Saarbrücken city and remained so until 1975.
