Wesley Lopes Beltrame Wesley or short (* June 24, 1987 in Catanduva, Brazil) is a Brazilian footballer who is at Palmeiras São Paulo under contract.
Career
Association
Wesley spent his youth at FC Santos, was loaned from March to December 2009 Paranaense and played from the beginning of 2010 again for his hometown club. On 20 August 2010 Werder Bremen announced after weeks of negotiations, the change is known. Wesley is said to have signed a four -year contract until 30 June 2014. He made his debut on 11 September 2010 ( 3rd Round ) in the game against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. His first Bundesliga goal he scored on 23 October 2010 at the match against Borussia Moenchengladbach, when he scored in the 12th minute for intermediate 2-0.
Wesley was never able to establish himself in the starting line- of Bremen. After he had only been on five missions in the 2011/12 season, Werder Bremen announced on March 8, 2012 that Wesley moved to Palmeiras São Paulo. However, due to a cruciate ligament injury he missed large parts of the season. So he was not there also the Cup victory in July 2012. After the club, the Série A 2012 finished on a relegation place, Wesley plays with Palmeiras currently in the Série B.
National
He was on 7 October 2010 in a friendly match in Brazil in Iran his debut in the national team. A total of two times was used, both games were friendlies.
Others
Wesley was trained as a striker, but has also played already in the attacking midfield, on the outer positions and as a full-back. In addition, it has been used as central defensive aft.
As a personal example Wesley calls the former Bundesliga national team of Brazil, Zé Roberto.
