The West Fork River is 166 km long left source river of the Monongahela River in the north of the U.S. state of West Virginia.

About Monongahela and Ohio River he belongs to the catchment area of the Mississippi River. It has a gentle gradient, and flows at a low speed. Therefore, this river is very popular for fishing and is inhabited by fish such as walleye, Canadian walleye, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, gold trout, flathead catfish, rainbow trout and muskellunge.

Jackson 's Mill was formed in 1800 by Edward Jackson along the river north of Weston. His grandson, Thomas Jonathan Jackson, spent his youth.
