View

The S -Bahn destination network in 2015 originally provided, in the direction of travel Witten behind the breakpoint Wetter (Ruhr) to build an unloading, to let go of the suburban trains from here to the other Ruhr page where they on the way to Witten Hauptbahnhof the reactivated breakpoints weather Wengern East and Witten- Bommern should use height. Wetter (Ruhr) would thus become the main railway station. Following the appointment of Oliver Wittkes 2005, however, all targets have tilted and re-evaluate. The necessary new Ruhrbrücke was rejected, so that the train will not continue to change its course.

It is also planned to upgrade the Ruhr -Lenne train to S19 and to extend to the previous endpoint addition to Bottrop Hbf or even Haltern am See. Due to the reductions in the regionalization funds for local rail this goal, however, is a distant memory. Realistically, Quo is for the foreseeable future to change anything on the status.
