While Your Lips Are Still Red is a song by Tuomas Holopainen and Marco Hietala, who for the Finnish film Lieksa! ( Director: Markku Pölönen ) was written. The film was released in September 2007. While Your Lips Are Still Red is again included on Nightwish Amaranth Single, a publication from the album Dark Passion Play.

The phrase "Kiss while your lips are silent red", passing through the song is used again and again, simply means " kisses while you still can ", or translated more freely " Experience it while you still can ." The official music video includes excerpts from the film Lieksa! and scenes in which Marco Hietala sings and Tuomas Holopainen follows him. The video was released on 14 June 2007 on Youtube.

While Your Lips Are Still Red is not an official Nightwish song, but on the official website clearly states that the song by Tuomas Holopainen has been written and he plays keyboards; Jukka Nevalainen plays drums and Marco Hietala sings. The song contains no guitar or female voice. In the background is set as the voice of Tuomas Holopainen heard. In addition, Nightwish, rather, Marco Hietala, Tuomas Holopainen and Nevalainen Jukka played the song at the Wacken Open Air 2008.
