White Airways

White Airways is a Portuguese charter airline based in Lisbon and based on the Lisbon Portela Airport.

History

The company was founded in 2005 and was originally owned 75% of TAP Portugal; 25 % belonged to the Portuguese tourism company Abreu Group. End of 2006, TAP sold its charter division of the conglomerate Omni - Aviacao e Tecnologia Company. Today, White Airways is 100% in its possession.

Destinations

White Airways operates primarily charter flights, and on behalf of tour operators to popular holiday destinations in the Mediterranean, as well as to Brazil and the Caribbean, through, for example, to Malta, Ibiza, Santorini, Punta Cana, Cancun and Recife. In addition, the aircraft to be leased to other airlines or used for business travel.
