Course of Yurungkax in the catchment area of the Tarim

The Yurungkax (Chinese白玉 河, Pinyin Hé Baiyu, Baiyu River ') is the right source of the river Hotan in southern Xinjiang Autonomous Region in southwest China.

The Yurungkax rises on the northern slope of the Kunlun Mountains, near the border with Tibet. It flows initially in a predominantly westerly direction. Later, the river turns to the north. He leaves the mountains, flows through the city located in the Tarim Basin Hotan and hits another 150 km to the north on the Karakax, with which it forms the Hotan. The river name has the meaning "white Jadefluss ".
